Beschrijving
The Bow-Tie Cat Cushion explores the relationship between volume, form and comfort.
Starting from a simple rectangular foam block, the cushion is individually upholstered and shaped through a series of carefully positioned hand-stitches. Rather than relying on an external strap to create its silhouette, the cushion develops and maintains its distinctive bow-tie form independently.
A separate surrounding band completes the composition. Beyond its visual function, it introduces an element of interaction: an invitation for curious cats to explore, slip underneath and make the object their own.
A sculptural object for everyday feline life.
